what to expect
Your First Session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other.
You'll have space to:
- Share what's bringing you here.
- Ask questions.
- Talk about your goals.
- Learn how I work.
- Decide together what feels like the best next step.
No pressure. No expectations to share everything at once.
I finally feel like I have space to be myself.
Working with Maya has helped me understand myself in a completely different way. I feel more grounded, more connected to what I need, and better equipped to handle the things life throws my way.
— Emily R.
I leave every session feeling a little lighter.
Maya creates such a warm, comfortable space that makes it easy to open up without feeling judged. Our work together has helped me understand patterns I couldn’t see before and make changes that actually feel sustainable.
— Lauren M.
This is the kind of support I didn’t know I needed.
I came in feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. Maya has helped me slow down, understand what I’m feeling, and approach my life with so much more compassion and clarity.
— Danielle S.
